Welcome to Mafodda.com and thanks for visiting. My father and I put this site up in June 1999 to showcase his 5 years of geneological work on our family history. When he passed away in November of that year, I decided to keep up the site to carry on his legacy. In that time, the response I've received from people all over the world has been nothing short of staggering...I had no idea there were so many of you out there! The one thing that has bothered me more than any other has been the design and layout of the site. A professional designer SHOULD have a better website, so I'm taking the opportunity of switching ISPs to rebuild the site from scratch with new features and an improved user interface and information architecture.
